Parole & LSI Monitoring
Parole is driven by an LSI (Level of Service Inventory) risk model and a dynamic NPC ecosystem.
LSI tiers
| LSI Level | Search probability | Detection radius | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | 10% | ~17 m | Light supervision |
| Medium | 30% | ~25 m | Standard patrol presence |
| High | 50% | ~33 m | Frequent searches |
| Severe | 70% | ~40 m | Intensive monitoring |
These values set how often officers check on you and how far they can detect contraband.
NPC roles
- Supervising officers – Stationed at police HQ, handle paperwork.
- Patrol officers – Roam Uptown, Westside, Docks, and Northtown.
- Search officers – Trigger contraband inspections with cooldowns.
UI surfaces
- The parole status UI shows time remaining, risk level, and violations.
- The conditions screen summarizes what you agreed to at release.
Violations
- Contraband possession, missed check-ins, or resisting searches escalate LSI tiers and extend parole.
- Higher LSI tiers mean more frequent checks and wider detection ranges.
