Install Behind Bars

This guide explains how to install the mod from an official release.

1. Download a release​

  • Choose either:
    • A .dll file for manual install.
    • A .zip file for Vortex Mod Manager (or SIMM once released).

2. Prepare your game​

  1. Ensure MelonLoader is installed and up to date.
  2. Back up your %LOCALAPPDATA%\..\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I\Saves saves.
  3. Close Schedule I before copying files.

3. Install the mod​

Option A: Manual (.dll)​

  1. Copy Behind Bars.dll into your Schedule I Mods folder.

Option B: Vortex / SIMM (.zip)​

  1. Import the .zip into Vortex and deploy it.
  2. SIMM support is planned; the process will mirror Vortex once it is released.

4. Launch the game​

Start Schedule I and load your save. If the mod does not appear in-game, check the troubleshooting page.
