Installation Requirements

Before installing Behind Bars, make sure your setup meets these basics.

Required​

  • Schedule I (latest Steam build)
  • MelonLoader (current release)
  • Sufficient disk space for mod files, logs, and backups
  • Back up your saves before installing or updating the mod

Backup reminders​

Back up saves

Copy %LOCALAPPDATA%\..\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I\Saves before applying any new Behind Bars build. The mod touches jail, bail, and parole data, so reverting without a backup can corrupt long-term saves.
